Exports stay in your browser

Chat Exporter reads the conversation open in your tab on gemini.google.com, chatgpt.com, claude.ai and chat.deepseek.com, and builds PDF, Markdown, TXT, CSV and JSON files on your computer. To list your past chats for "All chats", it asks those sites for your chat list from your own signed-in browser. None of this is sent to us.

Share links

Only when you choose Create share link, the chat's title, the messages you selected and the site's name are uploaded to aichatexporter.com and stored so we can show the read-only page. Anyone with the link can view it. Shared pages are marked so search engines don't index them. Stop sharing in the extension deletes the page and its content from our server immediately.

Feedback

If you send feedback, we store your message, the email address if you give one, and your IP address (to block abuse). We use it only to improve the extension.

What we don't do

No ads, no analytics or tracking scripts, no selling or sharing of data, no account required. We don't read your chats unless you create a share link.

Settings stored on your device

Your preferred format and options, and the links you've shared (so you can stop sharing them), are kept in your browser's extension storage.
